We've got a new look, a new identity, but there's more to it than that.
So, you’ve seen our news, our new brand, been to our fresh new website and now you’ve reached our blog. Here’s where we’ll explain what we’re thinking, what the new identity means and what to look out for from us in future.
Eight years ago we had an idea. We were pretty fed up with media-margin-led communications businesses that hadn’t changed business model for nearly 200 years. Still mindlessly filling boxes in the press with ads, making a margin whether the contents were good or bad, whether the work worked or not.
We set out to build a business based on the value we added to employers - making our business decisions because they were the right things to do rather chasing revenue. Making decisions that would help people choose to build connections with their employers, future, current and past.
Back then the majority of our efforts went on helping employers find, attract and convince talent that they’d be a great place for a career. Eight years and seventy four awards later, our work is considerably wider in scope, from the data and behavioural science that allows us to understand people with greater clarity, the strategies we build that underpin the brands and EVPs we build, and the campaigns that we execute to bring them to life.
We create wonderful work that works because the view our own equally wonderful people have of the world is broad rather than narrow - because we start by understanding business objectives and align what we do. Because we understand what’s important to people and to the businesses that employ them, we can build better content and better communications.
We’re adding an exciting area to our service delivery today, EmployeeX, where we’ll work specifically to work with employers to take their EVP beyond the attraction of great talent, to ensure the best employee experience is delivered, from first day to last day and beyond. For the majority of businesses this is the HR priority right now, if you want to know more about the work of EmployeeX then click here.
Our new identity goes straight to the heart of what we set out to be originally. A fresh, distinctive, ‘anything but bland’ kind of a business partner - and then builds in new thinking and new ways of working that reflect the human experience of work today, in all its wonderful, eccentric, emotional, rationale, banal and bonkers, just for today and for the long-term sense. We hope that you’ll enjoy the difference as much as we’re excited about where this takes us.
